Pick a video with “Video from Photos”, from the Files app, or from another app’s share sheet by tapping Wavli. Then use the same tools you’d use on audio: Remove Noise for steady background noise and Remove Hum for electrical hum.
Wavli cleans the audio track and puts it back into the video. The picture is copied as it is, not re-encoded. Export as MP4 and save it to Photos as a new copy; your original stays where it was. You can also share it directly or save it to Files.
Video always comes out as an .mp4 file, even if you started with a .mov.
If you only want the sound, choose an audio format (M4A, WAV, MP3, or AIFF) or “Extract Audio” instead. Wavli then exports only the audio, without the picture.
Choosing a video from Photos doesn’t require giving Wavli access to your whole photo library.
This works for videos from any iPhone running iOS 15 or later, including older models without the Camera’s newer audio features, and for videos from other cameras and apps.
